This Isn’t Just About a Baby—It’s About You!

Hi Reader,

Thanks for all the incredible feedback on our weekly touchbase here- it’s really nice to lean into this community at a time when it can feel like we’re all getting “automated” apart. I am grateful for simple connections and the responses we get with your updates and love.

That said, I want to talk hope…cause this is a ‘weird’ time, right?

With prices going up, economic uncertainty, and honestly, the media feeling *so* negative…it can be easy to slip into the “what’s the whole point of it all?” Like, why start a business? Why invest in ANYTHING? Why make plans or look forward?

Pausing and waiting it out feels like all you can do in some areas of your life…

But look at this…

I know. I know. Some of you may not be all about the kiddos, or well past the baby stage, or childfree by choice, but I want to call out what Josie represents in my world.

A complete and total unexpected miracle.

A turn of events I couldn’t anticipate.

A delivery of deserving that is more than I asked for.

As a 40-year-old woman, fresh out of a divorce, with 3 kids, and about 5 good eggs left (ha!)…

Somehow…it all worked out.

Because y’all, sometimes it DOES work out.

Isn’t enough talk about the fact that God is still in the blessing business, and miracles happen every minute.

And that’s where I hope I find you today. If you’re waiting on your win, low on hope, and praying for change-

It is reasonable and worth keeping believing. If it can happen for me, it can happen for you.

Reply back…Let me know the win/or relief you’re waiting for so I can stand with you (for reals)- and I’m excited to get the “It HAPPENED” email from you super soon.

Looking forward,

Nicole

PODCAST

A Conversation That’ll Hit Home

“ Mental health can be all consuming…”

That’s how the MidTiny (my daughter, Kris!) started our most recent chat on the podcast…

And we’ve all heard that Gen Z is more focused on their mental health than any other generation but why? In this chat, Kris shares some of the struggles faced by Gen Z, particularly around mental health, societal pressures, and workplace challenges.

Kris opens up about her recent mental health issues, the anxiety faced by undocumented friends, and the impact of political and social climates on her generation. She explains why she and her friends are so focused on community and if they are interested in pursuing “The American Dream.”

And friend, don’t miss the part when I ask Kris about a new dating app and she completely shuts me down!
